16. I saw this secret and immediately thought of A Christmas Story. xD

20. Funimation's DragonBall Z dub (and, to a lesser extent, DiC's dub of Sailor Moon) was what pulled me in, so I don't really have any fond childhood memories with 4Kids. I mean, yeah, they introduced a lot of people to anime, which is cool, but I still feel bitter towards them about what they did to my favorite series.

48. And, yeah, I know, downloading subs for stuff that's been domestically released makes me feel guilty. D: Especially since my dad's a computer programmer, and my mom's always like, "How would you feel if people started downloading copies of your dad's software?" Most of the time I watch subs for stuff that hasn't been released in the States, but then once it's been released, I'm usually kind of "meh" about buying them unless it's something I really, really, really love. xD;;

26. X-2 is my favourite Final Fantasy too, but...that is a rather odd image.

43. That episode is the only thing on TV that's ever made me cry. Seeing all the other people who felt sorry for Seymour, it makes me think how nice it would be if we all gave a few dollars to an animal welfare charity today, to help old, abandoned dogs in real life. But I suppose fandomsecrets isn't a very fruitful place to be encouraging such actions ^^;;

4. YESSS. Phoenix Wright has some of my all time favorite female characters. They don't seem to fit into any stereotypes, and I think most people can identify with at least one of them, somehow.

14. It seems that T&T has been bringing in lots of new fans to the fandom (you're not the only person I've encountered on the internet who is a fan because of it). I got into it with the second game, and I've yet to play the first!

18. Death Note got me into fandom after Harry Potter scared me off. It's certainly a breath of fresh air from the overly moe stuff flooding the market nowadays :/

32. I found Lila to be a far more interesting character than, say, Rita. I like the characters who give Dex a hard time, so I liked her and James, though I didn't like that she killed James, but I suppose it was necessary for the plot to continue. I wonder if any of the new antagonists can match up to them.

It makes me sad to see unhappy endings for this fandom. I guess I figure that the story itself can have "bad" moments in it - the whole point of the film is that in real life and real love, bad things happen, but they're worth it and almost necessary to really appreciate the good and to get to the "happily ever after."

47. I still don't, not too much. I'm a Elijah Wood sort of girl. But I do admit that it's a cool scene. XD

48. I watch (a few) fansubs, but...only on the condition that ANYTHING I watch beyond the 2nd episode (even if I end up hating it) I'll buy up to what I downloaded. (Well, unless I just REALLY hated it, then I'd probably just rent it out.) Death note was the first--I made it to episode 5 with the fansubs, and I have both of the volumes already.
I think fansubs have their place in helping series get here, but...if "fans" don't start buying the series they claim to love, both the anime companies here and the studios in Japan are going to be in trouble, I think. x.x;
But anyway, I applaude you for doing what you can to help the industry.
