I find that once I fall out with people, friends included, I'm not exactly sure what I saw in them in the first place. Like, I want to see the best in people, so if you've intrigued me in some way, I hang on for WAY longer that I should just to see if that first spark of interest will yield. It usually never does and I eventually move on.

Of course I have. Because I was a child and didn't know what a good relationship was like, or how to go about one. One, it was because I was actively being sabotaged and taught that nobody better would have me.

And I didn't stay. I have been happily single for years! :)

I'm looking for a fic.

It was Batman/DCU. "Sex pollen" type story. The Joker creates some sort of chemical/pheromone that makes people super-horny and is transferred by scent or sexual contact. It spreads faster than a zombie outbreak, and even Supes is infected. Batman eventually stops it.

It wasn't on ffn, aff, or ao3. It was on one of those sites where every chapter is on a different page, accessed through a master page. The same author also had a sex-pollen genre fic set in the Star Trek universe, I think.

With so many actors and actresses putting on fake accents for movies, shows and such, have you ever come across one where you liked his/her fake accent/voice better than his/her real voice?

If so, who was it? And what was the fake accent for?

This was inspired by The Flash, where Zimbabwean/Australian actor, Rick Cosnett, plays an American cop. On the show his voice is like this super deep, rich hum of a growl. Like Tom Waits meets the American version of Tom Hardy. It's fantastic. Really, I could listen to him read from a phone book. His real life voice? Meh. High pitch and more nasally. It's nice but nothing to write home about.

Another writer has been on hold for the film for months as the studio works to define its vision. A Warners insider acknowledges that the studio's approach on WONDER WOMAN, set to star Gal Gadot (who will be introduced in BATMAN V SUPERMAN), has been "unorthodox," but he says Warners is developing its own "filmmaker-driven" strategy in contrast with Marvel, which generally is ruled by producer Kevin Feige and which has hired such untested directors as Joss Whedon, Joe and Anthony Russo and James Gunn. Further, he says Warners has great confidence in its intellectual property, as do even those outsiders who have questioned the studio's actions."

Oh F!S, I am so excited! I HAVE A NEW COMPUTER! :D It's not specifically intended for gaming, but since indy games have come such a long way since we left gaming back in 2003 or so, I am hoping for recs! @_@

I really enjoy low-combat games that focus more on platforming, exploration, or puzzles. I also enjoy visual novels! I really enjoyed Loved and Air Pressure. RPGmaker games are also totally cool!

Anyone else who wants game recs can also use this thread!
