There’s a lot of reasons to miss LJ. My reason is, almost exclusively, that I miss the rating communities.

especially the KHR one.

OP Notes: A rating community was a group were you filled in a form, then let other members vote on which character from a specific fandom you reminded them the most of.
KHR referes to the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! manga.

I think they kind of jumped the gun with the her and Ash thing. I know Ash moves quickly but I didn't understand why she went from wanting to arrest him to tagging along and wanting to run away with him??

And SPOILERS. I'm kind of glad she's undead now, I'm more interesting in maybe her possibly having undead shenanigans with Lucy Lawless.

At some times I think white-washing makes sense. In ATLA it was inexcusable, Exodus as well, but if they’re making an American version of Death Note, set in America, I don’t necessarily think all characters have to be Asian. Some should be, since they’re adapting an Asian work of art, but I could see a black or white Light.
