2) Although I never met him sadly I know people who did and said he was very pleasant. He signed autographs and even posed for pictures. He also took the time to answer questions of several people on a Life on Mars fan forum. He might not be the most fan friendly actor but he seems like a genuinely nice guy to me. But even if he wasn't I like him as an actor not as someone who I want to be best friends with.

#14 Oh, do I agree. ;_; I almost never ship anything, and it's so hard to find any fic that's gen that's more than a one-shot.

#36 I know (through LJ ^^; ) a pair of pro translators, and I think they're awesome. And it sucks when people complain over nitpicky details. THERE ARE NO DIRECT TRANSLATIONS. A translator's job is to make the original meaning in the original language as clear as possible in the second language. Jokes in one language/culture most likely won't work in the new one if translated word-for-word.

Anyhow. I say you should go for it and ignore the crazies.

53. Oh, dear LORD! Someone likes a show that you don't? Because everyone OBVIOUSLY looks for the same qualities in their shows, and noone ever enjoys it BECAUSE of it's lightheartedness. And while it's hardly deep, it does have it's slightly deeper darker elements. Not much, but come on, it's a fun show that's nicely written and acted and that's why people like it. Get over it. Sure, dislike it, hate it even; nothing wrong with that. But to hate someone over what makes their brain react with enjoyment? Man it must suck to be you. Wanker.
