It looks like a devil's trap from Supernatural, which would make it fandom-related. The symbol might have been used elsewhere too though, so I'm not 100% sure it's an SPN secret.

3: I agree with you and disagree with you all at the same time. I really like Klavier, I think he's a good character. I also thought he was a horrible opponent, but instead of that making me like him more, it makes me like him less. I feel the same way about Godot. Loved Godot as a character, but didn't like him as an opponent.

This is, I think, partially a writing problem. The designers made sure that the von Karma's and Edgeworth destroyed your arguments. They didn't do such a good job with Godot and Klavier. I think this is one of the reasons why GS3 and GS4 were a bit lacklustre for me. All in all, though, they're really interesting characters. I do hope that we get to see more of Klavier in the GS series.

13: Welp, I'm a girl and I don't want to talk about the mechs. Love the politics, the plot, and a few of the characters, but the mechs are a bit boring. As a G1 Transformers fangirl, I tend to prefer my mechs sentient, rather than piloted by humans. I think that's what makes them not so interesting for me.

14: You know, everyone really seems to love that series. If you check out its ratings on various anime sites, it gets terrific reviews. I've tried watching it a couple of times over the past month or so, however, and it just doesn't grab me. It's so odd too, because I love British period dramas and I like a lot of seinen/josei anima/manga and I just find it utterly boring.

Glad you found an anime series you enjoy, though. I'm a bit of an anime/manga newb and I'm really impressed with the variety I've discovered so far.

45: Dude, what is with the hate on that character design? There was a post on the Phoenix/Edgeworth comm a few days ago with someone ranting on about her being Edgeworth's love interest and OMG THAT WOULD BE SO AWFUL. I really don't get what everyone's so pissed about. Yeah, she is a pretty standard female anime character design, but a lot of the characters in the GS universe are. Don't Phoenix, Edgeworth, and Godot have unrealistically spiky hair? What about Trucy and Maya? They look like pretty standard young female anime characters as well.

I just don't understand at all. The game isn't even out yet -- why don't you complain about it then?

So you're 100% Japanese. Congrats. I understand cosplay is a Japanese subculture, but "all the rest who aren't Asian" also cosplay video game characters and superhero/comic book characters. They can dress up as whoever they'd like.

I'm sure it makes me a bad person, but people reading trashy books and then talking about them like they're good (not "fun"--I can go with "fun" because trashy usually is--but "good" as in "an example of well-written prose with actual, believable characters"), well, I'd almost rather they read nothing, because:
A) You write what you read. If painful, drama-queen prose is your favourite fodder of choice, your writing will reflect that, and odds are good you're in one of my fandoms as well, writing fic. It's always nice to have good fic.
B) (And this is the crucial one) These fans get all butthurt over people criticizing the books. Oh come on! Honestly, how lame does secret "I'm butthurt because people are butthurt!" sound? The secret is saying that people who don't like Twilight need to accept that people like different things. That's true. So I'd think that they'd have the right to hate on it because hey, people like different things! Amazing!
Honestly, F!S is the first I ever heard of it being compared to Harry Potter, and it just makes me laugh, not because one is so superior to the other but because it's just apples and oranges. "This book is popular with teens! Holy crap, it's just like Harry Potter!"

Most perfectly original, emotional, and satisfying endings of any anime series I've yet to see. There's a reason why GunBuster is my #1 favorite anime of all time, and a lot of it has to do with how they ended this series. Go watch it! Be brave like Noriko!
