77: You bet it's possible, because I feel the same. 9 and Rose had chemistry like whoa, but with 10 and Rose I've always felt that it was more one-sided - Rose adored him, but 10 is too easily distracted by saving the world and shiny things to fully return it, whereas 9 is so focused and needs her so much, if simply as a way of coping with all his angst.

Sure, me too - there are plenty of people who ship her with only Nine, or only Ten, why not? (I had resigned myself to the fact that I just can't ship Ten, since I expected to ship him with Rose, Jack and Martha and none of them worked for me, but season 4 gave me Ten/Donna and Ten/Ross and I'm fixed now \o/)

I think I'm being pranked...I mean, the whole "good parts version" shtick to The Princess Bride is a sendup of authors like Victor Hugo. There isn't an original "S. Morgenstern" novel.

So...huh? Is there an actual abridged The Princess Bride? (And what the hell would they cut?) Or is this some sort of swipe at secrets complaining about people who don't read the original source materials? Or am I going insane?

The thing which always amuses me is how everything good is someone else's doing (eg Steven Moffat), everything bad is always RTD's doing. Fair enough, he's the public face of the show, and at least nominally in charge of every damn thing, but that means he deserves as much credit as blame - otherwise, why are you still watching the show, kiddywinks?
