106. I understand perfectly. I refer to myself as bisexual, but when I sit down and think about it, the only males I'm sexually attracted to are fictional characters (in real life I prefer men as friends), and usually those characters are big gruff guys, preferably with a few chunks taken out of them (go figure?). I have yet to meet anyone like that in real life, though, so who knows. Still, labels are silly, and we should be free to frolic around and be ourselves! *fruity glee*

Dean was the perfect first boyfriend. I didn't dislike him when he began worrying about Rory/Jess. Jess did alot of crap too and the fans seem much more forgiving towards him. I started disliking Dean when the two slept together while he was married.

I also think that was the beginning of a slump Rory got into, but that's just me. Rory at least pulled herself out.

But how do you define being a good fan?

Personally, I don't think being a fan of someone or something is about hero-worship; just because you don't consider them absolutely perfect and insanely attractive doesn't mean that you are a bad fan, or at a lower level than another. I fancy John Barrowman, yes, but I'm well aware that he isn't perfect, and I have several small issues with him sometimes, which I won't go into here. The same with Torchwood, sort of. You're seeing them in a realistic and human light, which keeps you grounded, I think.

Of course, different attitudes work for different people; that's just me. But you shouldn't feel like a bad fan for not fancying him, not at all.

He does have a nice chest, though. Unf.

103. I'm not religious at all, but I agree with you here. Maybe the reason why some people are hostile is because they've had bad experiences with people trying to convert them or something. But like you said, fandom is something everyone has the right to enjoy.

137. ME TOO! I seriously have no idea why some people insist that it will be canon (the fact that Hinata hasn't done much of anything in part 2 doesn't help either).

145. If you REALLY don't want to, then you shouldn't have to do anything you're not comfortable with. I think that it's a great anime that everyone should see at least once, but you should know what's best for yourself.

168. I actually like Joshua (although I hated him while I was playing the game) but I don't like how fandom makes him out to be some martyr figure when in reality he is, like you said, a manipulative bastard.

166. Actually, the nasty aspect of any Hiruma relationships is what interests me the most--I get annoyed when this is played down or eliminated in fic. Though I can totally see why that would turn anyone off Hirumaships, so I see where you're coming from.

162. You know, that always bothered me about the book. I mean, I doubt it actually is damaging to the characters because this is work of fiction, and therefore will work out, but I kind of worry that teenage girls are going to read this shit and actually want a relationship like the one Bella and Edward has and shit like that just doesn't work in real life.

Furthermore, I would kill myself before I ever loved someone so much I'd literally go comatose if they broke up with me. That's not love, that unhealthy obsession that needs to be checked ASAP.
