110. They're so much love, specially Shinji. I feel horrible that they had to go through all of that at such a young age and yet they're still manage to keep their head up in some sort of fashion. They are some very strong kids. But specially Shinji. My heart goes to him, just wish people would stop calling him an emo brat who whines all the time.

132 - Light was an ass. I didn't like him at all after L died. What would have made for an even more complex (or better, IMO) story was to have Light *not* remember he was Kira(sp?), discover that he was, and feel some fucking remorse about it and deal with the fallout of him having done what he had did. Either way, I was glad when he finally bit it. I love anti-heroes and all (Punisher comes to mind), and occasionally I love a good villain (Two-Face, who does bad shit but his backstory breaks my fucking heart), but he was simply unredeemable in the end for me (like the Joker, who needs a bullet in the ass STAT). But, oh well... I'm not the author.

151 - I agree. I wish they really existed, cause I would have had R. Kelly "Step in the Name of Love" right in front of a big rig on the fucking expressway last week. Make it rain indeed. *still bitter about the ruling*

Oh, I get that Light isn't for everyone, and I think he totally deserved what he got. He was a murderous, megalomaniacal, egocentric, psychopathic serial killer. But I found that really interesting, especially given that he has no tragic past--he's just fucking nuts. And his end just broke my heart, for some reason. More than a character like Two-Face ever has, honestly. Kind of makes me wonder about myself. o_O

102. She's not really that much of a Mary Sue in the manga. In the anime, yeah, but in the manga a lot of that cheerfulness is her covering up her own tragic past. And she has flaws, too. And I honestly think it's pretty well-written, too. Yeah, a bit soap-y, but that's just shoujo in general.

110. I think the characters is what make me love NGE so much, even though I don't typically like shows that are quite that cynical, or mech shows in general. (And Shinji's my favorite, too.)

103. I don't HATE Joshua. But I don't really get why the whole fandom seems to worship him, either. I disliked him at the beginning of chapter 2. Liked him at the end of it. After finishing the game my attitude towards him is pretty similar to Neku's. In other words, I shake my fist a lot and go, "Joshuaaaaa! DDD:"

I like him enough. I just don't see what makes him the zomg!bestest character in the game. While I'm on the subject, Joshua/Neku is the annoying and way overused shounen ai pairing of the fandom. I guess every fandom has to have one, but meh x_x
