I first saw Cats when I was 12 and am now 25. My tiny shirt I bought is still hanging in my closet despite it not having fit in a decade. I performed Macavity at my high school talent show and got a standing ovation and to this day I still know every lyric and cherish every little thing I have from Cats. My stuffed lion I named Jellyloram still sits proudly on my shelf.

I absolutely agree. My boyfriend and I talk about which characters we'd leave the other one for, but in reality, fandom is just an excuse for spending more time together. If the Doctor showed up on my doorstep and invited me to travel, I'd take my better half with me or refuse to go. I'm glad I'm not the only fannish girl whose biggest fandom is someone who's real enough to love her back.
