It's EXACTLY the same as with nigger. Black people throw it around completely casually, and yet most of the time if a white person says it even to a close black friend they get angry. A group of people can't claim exclusive ownership of a word like that and it frustrates me to no end that that's exactly what's happened in society with the word nigger.

149- No, no one should. Not even gay people. Why? Because the more you hear it, the more the shock of it wear off. So if you don't want ANYONE to use it, don't use it (And on the flip side, if you want it to lose it's power, use it a lot) I hate that word, but I use it more then I'd like to because the gay men around me consider it ok to throw around and I'm use to hearing it.
