In my opinion it's perfectly fine to only like shorter works; I agree that it's hard to get into something like Bleach that seems to go on forever. I myself only get into shows, books, etc. that I think are of reasonable length. (Inuyasha = hell no.)
There are lots of short anime such as FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, etc. that take up one TV season - sometimes less... maybe even just one movie (ex: Akira).
Many of these are structured as one-shots, with each episode having a self-contained plot (Cowboy Bebop).
So please, please, don't hate on the medium because of the way some of the shows in it are structured.

I'm sorry, but calling a fictional character your "beloved" is TOTALLY LAME. It's nice that you like a character that someone MADE UP, but you need to wake up and realize that THEY WILL NEVER LOVE YOU BACK. THEY ARE FICTIONAL! Saying that you're so in love with a fictional character that you'd disregard the real world is childish and makes you look stupid and self-absorbed.

Wow...takes a pretty shitty person to look down on somebody just because the brothers on her TV show are hotter than the ones on yours.

1) The mods have lives too. We post more or less regularly mid-month and at the end of the month. There was ONE TIME, that the secrets were a week late.

2) If we attempted to post daily, or even weekly, you'd have a secrets post made up of 1-2 (daily) or 5 (weekly) secrets. Early on in the conception of the community, after gauging the rate the secrets were submitted, we decided that posting TWICE a month is the perfect interval.

3) If you're so inclined, make a community of your own. :)
