You might be interested to know about Puzzle Planet League (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planet_Puzzle_League) on the DS. It doesn't have the Mario branding, but it does have an online mode and plays identically to Tetris Attack.

I had an English course once where we were reading a Phyllis Nagy play where a gay man is beaten to death and another gay man stands by in silence out of fear. Other characters in the play ask him if he knew the guy who died, and he keeps denying it, so I said, "this reminds me of when Peter denied Jesus in the Bible" thinking that maybe since I live in the Bible Belt even, people would get what I was trying to say. Well, there was only one person in the whole class of like twenty people who knew the story. I'm not religious or anything, I just think it's sad that people don't know their own culture's myths. Geez.

Read Philip K. Dick's VALIS sometime. That and William Gibson's Neuromancer could be considered the "source material" for the Wachowski Brother's vision. :D
