I literally did nothing except watch some TV and try and find good Chris Argent/Derek Hale fic, of which I could find only one 'decent' one.

I went to the dispensary and picked up some Indica pre-rolls. Then I put some money down on a layaway (I only owe 50 more bucks, yay!). I got an iced latte and a sugar cookie and got home in time to tune in the Oakland A's home opener game on TV. The Warriors play the Bucks this evening and I like both teams so I'll be happy no matter who wins. I'm going to try to get to bed early because I have work tomorrow.

I went for a run this morning, and I didn't phone it in and felt really energized afterwards, and I only ran for 35 minutes.

I am almost finished cleaning for Passover and I am going to get a massage now. (I feel so self-indulgent but I've been working hard so maybe I deserve it.)

Went for dinner with my partner's mum for her birthday. Was incredibly hungover from celebrating someone else's birthday the night before but managed it somehow. Had a Catalan vegetable stew which was heavenly. <3

Food triage.

The power surges and brownouts from the most recent thunderstorm have apparently killed our freezer's motivation to Make Things Cold, so we've been racing to at least cook (and sometimes eat) the most spoilable foods first.

Monthly sensory nightmare came a few days early, so I went to stock up on food and now I'm trying not to think about suffering through work tomorrow and Saturday. I promised myself a day off in April, but "in April" does not mean "on March 30 or 31", and if I'm not strict with myself, I'll never do anything I'm supposed to.

Aw! I went to school and then I THOUGHT I was going straight to my boyfriend's but he had a work thing to do....so I took myself to see A Fantastic Woman (which was fantastic!) and I'm about to go to his place now. Yay!

I went to a park and had a fairly easy, but long for me hike with my aunt, along with the other walking I did today I went about 10.5 miles. Lots of creeks and a waterfall and a huge snake. My aunt saw a bobcat and I didn’t, so I was a little jealous. But we had fun. I am extremely sunburnt.

Had a lawyer lunch. The local immigration law group does a once a month lunch at a nice Italian place. I had crab cakes. Delicious.

Still have a migraine. So when I got home, I took some pills, read for a bit, and then took a 5 hour nap. That was really nice. I was so behind on sleep.

I spent the day sorting several mixed bags worth of twisting balloons by color and counting how many of that color I have. I have 928 balloons. I am making balloon animals at two huge local Easter egg hunts this weekend- one Friday night and the other on Saturday morning. I might make them at the buffet restaurant on Saturday evening if I have enough balloons and energy left.

I also practiced making different balloon sculptures out of the crappy balloons that came with my new balloon air pump. I made a blue bird, a rabbit on a giant purple carrot, and a basic parrot on a hoop.
