I said "rarely". Of that list, I'd only count EVE and Elastigirl as "strong." (Jessie's perfectly content to be a collector's item forever until Woody 'saves' her. She does show signs of improvement after that, I'll agree.) Two characters in nine films suggests that at the very least they're not trying very hard.

I agree it's silly to write about pregnancy without knowing the facts, but it doesn't just apply to guys. Lots of women who have never given birth can get the details wrong too, because pregnancy and childbirth is so rarely discussed or depicted realistically.

136. Awwww Zoobilee Zoo! Van Gogh was my favorite on the show, and when I was 2 or 3 a family friend asked me who my favorite artist was, and I said "Van Gogh!" and they thought I was really, really educated. (I LOL at this now because I hate post-Impressionism like whoah.)

144. Awww it's childhood fandoms day! My biggest problem with reality and that show was that I lived in Brooklyn at the time and knew the places the Ghostwriter kids traveled to and #1 I was almost their age and would SO not be able to gallivant around New York City like that, wth, and #2 I wanted to see Ghostwriter SO FUCKING BAD. And as for being a bad detective, Gaby was pretty damn awful and I always thought she was half illiterate and just faking it to hang around her brother and the cool kids. Not really. Dexter is a sociopath whose foster father (a very good cop) taught him to focus his urge into killing criminals, following the Code of Harry. He's by no means a megalomania and never kills somebody undeserving (unlike Light who eventually kills whoever steps in his vision). He has to be sure the world would be safer without such person or proof of their acts.

At least in season one, no idea of the book or second season.

They have common points, but the characters have their differences that made Dexter more anti-heroic, specially since he realizes he's wrong and he has to do this to survive as Harry said.
