Oh man I'm so excited at the prospect of finally getting an animated adaptation!! Is anyone here watching it? Is it good, bad, average? Thoughts on the updated setting? Should one re-read the manga before or after or instead of watching the anime?

I watched the first episode and really enjoyed it! The animation was nice, the pacing's great, and I really enjoyed the music. I've never read the manga though, so I can't comment on that, but I've been wanting to read it and Viz is going to re-release it, so I might pick it up if the anime keeps me interested.

It's been a such a long time since I read the manga that I can barely remember it, but I know I'm gonna have to wait until I'm in the right mood to watch it. XD

I'm watching it, even if was not-sold on the manga to the point that I stopped reading at volume four and never got back in.

Let's just say that I liked the first episode a lot more than I liked the manga, and am absolutely planning on following it. It's also set to be 24 episodes, which is an extreme plus in my book.

Never. I was raised on sarcasm and gallow's humour, and I also have had to fight against my ingrained need to offer solutions when someone is ranting at me about something, because repeated "Oh that sucks" makes me feel like I sound like I don't care, when I do, but I want to help you fix the problem, not just hear you vent about it.

Weirdest thing you ship

What is the absolute strangest thing you ship (not crack ship, ship completely seriously).


I think mine is probably Doctor Strange/his cloak. That thing is clearly sentient and clearly in love with Strange, and no one will ever convince me otherwise.
