This whole controversy has been amazingly stupid from the first that I heard about it. It seems pretty silly to fire a guy over tweets that he already apologized for 6 years ago, but whatever, I guess

In a dream world, they'd replace him with Edgar Wright, but that's obviously not going to happen, so w/e

Man fired over offensive tweets conservatives found b/c they got angry at him because he hates trump, so they do what they hate liberals for and pull up dirt and get him fired.
let alone the fact that you know disney knew about this shit from the beginning and still hired him.

This is SUCH a wild ride. What director do you think Disney will fire next year?

I'm sad if only because I feel like the GOTG characters have had the most solid thematic arcs in the MCU and Gunn seemed to really know how to pace their development.

Wow, this is the first I've heard about this. Those were some pretty stupid tweets, but if they're that old AND he's apologized... this sucks. The GotG movies are very much his thing. That said, if he's got to go I hope they'll consider Taika Waititi. Thor Ragnarok was so good, and honestly the vibe of GotG is similar. I think it could work.

A nail polish I wanted that's been out of production for over a year is suddenly available again and I was able to snag two bottles! And I bought a very delicate sterling silver necklace with a small rose charm that goes with practically everything.

My friend bought me a shirt at The Pillows concert. The line was super long and I told her she didn't have to, but she wanted to thank me for the ticket. It was really sweet of her.

What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am going to babysit my nephew so my sister can have a break. I am also going to look at paint stuff so I can figure out how I want to paint my room. I know nothing about that kind of stuff. Other than that, playing some platformers I downloaded.

I have so many friends who've been in bad relationships. Some only mildly bad (SO is a bit of a jerk, but not abusive or anything), others pretty bad.
