121. Mulan is fucking awesome. I can recall a two week period in my childhood where my cousins and I watched Mulan end to end, every day of their visit. And I still love that movie. There is nothing at all wrong with being inspired by it. Its message is among the best of Disney.

131- Bart! I feel the same way (but I'm more of a Wally fan). Flash is one of my favorite superheros (and is incredibly underrated).

135- Okay, I'm a film major and am obsessed with Dark Knight. It's flawless in my opinion, but IRL, I have a hard time telling people this because I'm not supposed to respect the superhero genre, but you know what...I've love DC comics for my whole life, and this film was a dream come true. Superhero respect FTW!! (I'm hoping for Watchmen, Green Lantern, and The Flash movies to be just as good.)

153- I can't wait either, but purely for the lulz. I can't wait for the Ozymandias/Bubastis fics, the Rorschach 'omg I think i want to fuck him' secrets, and above all, someone will write a Dark Knight/Watchmen crossover fic and ship Rorschach/Joker. I'm just going to laugh my ass off and be proud that I discovered Watchmen before the movie.

162- Someone did a House/Wilson fanvid with I Can't Decide?? Cool! Honestly, my ITunes are movie playlists, every song ever featured on House, and songs I discover through fanvids or fanmixes...beat that level of pathetic.

But honestly, the clones in Star Wars don't get enough attention - and here I was hoping that Clone Wars cartoon would have something to do with CLONES and not with more Jedi (come on, we had that for the entire prequel trilogy D:)

Yeaaaah I'm with you there, too. I was hoping for more clones, because let's face it we only watched the Cartoon Network cartoons for awesome ARC action, but I was crushed! Jedi and baby hutt saving? Pfft.

Reading the RC books and playing KotOR 2, I had to sit back and re-examine my perspective on Jedi.
And now... I don't really like them anymore. CRAZY.
The commandos have changed my fangirl, apparently.

118. Okay, I have no idea what fandom that is, but BLOODY WORD to your "b" reason.

If I had to risk a guess from my mostly-asexual standpoint, I'd say the reason why so many hetero women like m/m slash is actually related to the gender stereotype crap that's being constantly shoved down everyone's throats. When a guy is nice and sensitive in het, there's always room for doubt whether that's the real him or he's only acting that way to win/keep the girl. In slash, it becomes harder to question that kind of thing.

There is nothing wrong with opposing gender stereotypes and, as someone else already said, the portrayal of women in media is only really the tip of the iceberg, so no, it's not TV alone that does this to you. Honestly, though, I cannot understand how someone could possibly want to come off as weak, so I see nothing weird with the way you feel.

I actually WANT to like the movie (because the US tour keeps avoiding my state!!!) so then I could get my fix any time I want, but every time I try to watch it, I cringe or am just plain bored for an hour before I turn it off. :(

I'm a hetro fan who doesn't really like Yaoi AND Yuri ( I don't HATE it, it's just not my cup of tea. If everyone else likes it it's fine with me). I don't think I'm a homophobe. I've had friends who were gay and it was totally fine with me, I still see them as my friends. So I'm kina with you on worrying why I'm not into those things lol D: At least we are both confused together? :/

If it helps, imo everyone around here pretty much agrees that you aren't a homophobe and that there isn't something wrong with you. Some people like different things, even though not everyone will understand that. Just like what you like :P Forget the rest.
