39 - I don't really understand the connection between Ichigo/Rukia and the other two couples. I mean, it's not that it is going to be canon, but it isn't nearly as unlikely as Zutara or Harry/Hermione was. I mean, in both of those relationships the romantic attention was always focused at someone else, whereas niether Ichigo nor Rukia have shown to be interested in anyone...

The creator has discussed how he doesn't want to make romance a huge thing, it's possible neither couple will win. If they do, I doubt there will be any kind of massive spaz, after all, that's what fanfiction is for.

M2! There was a Caterina/Kate posted at yuri_challenge that I really liked, but it's the only TB femslash I've been able to find. And the lack of mountains of TB fic is a crime.

And I keep thinking there must be a huge fandom somewhere and I just can't find it. I mean, I know it's a popular series, and I see amazingly intricate cosplay for it all the time, so shouldn't there be more fic and art?

Now, I know Christianity isn't all bad (having been raised Lutheran); but I'd like it a whole lot better if:
1) Women could be priests/ministers if they felt like it, and were treated as equals generally (how I wish I could go back in time, and feed some of the Apostle Paul's mail to the neighbor's camel! The world would be a much happier place without all the "submit to your husband" crap);
2) LGBT folks were no longer demonized and persecuted; and
3) We could get rid of the idea that people are going to hell for what they believe, or don't believe. No point in punishing people for what they think, sez I. That's a lousy policy that should have been scrapped eons ago.

Shoot, I wish Jesus was/had been female. Now, THAT would make some changes in this world...!!

My problem is the exact opposite. My favorite fandoms (and most of my fandoms in general, for that matter) are UK-based, and I live in the US. Woe.
