149. Uh, maybe you hadn't noticed, but the majority of the people in the world actually are straight. And the vast majority of TV characters are canonically straight, too. That's not "heteronormativity," that's just plain, simple numbers. The ratio of straight to gay characters may change in the future, but as of right now? Side note to 189 and all Joker secrets) Honestly, I'm just pissed off that these secrets just say the same thing over and over. I understand that there are a whole lot of you, but please, just write anonymous comments about one secret and say you agree. You don't need to keep posting it over and over with different images. It takes up space for other secrets that are actually interesting and not repetitive.

103 - ME TOO. I watched it obsessively, constantly, when I was younger. I had a very minor speech impediment and I fixed it by mimicking, basically. Only instead of mimicking my therapist or my parents or friends, I mimicked the characters on Buffy. I'm English, but usually when I talk to someone new they ask me which part of America I come from.

170 - DO IT. (As you probably know) Who fandom can be quite receptive to alt!series. I think you'd probably have to ease in with Ten and some pre-existing characters to make sure you get readers hooked, but really, GO FOR IT. ('Cause Moff is gonna suck).

174. I try to pace myself. Which means that in one fandom I have like thirty things finished but not uploaded. (On the plus side, it gives me a good way to motivate myself: "No posting anything new until you've finished [some productive non-fandom task]!" It's helped keep me focused on the work that involves, y'know, actual monetary compensation.)
