107. Woah. Talk about a fresh perspective here. Now, as for whether I agree or not... well. Chobits is so far the only CLAMP series I've read, and I had no greater feelings for it one way or another. Some days I interpret it as romantic, others as pretty much what OP describes here. Isn't it fun with multiple viewpoints?

Mayuri is the kind of guy that I just... can't REALLY hate because good LORD he takes the ball so far beyond the line of good taste and common sense that it just enters some kind of new realm of hitherto unseen madness. 125. I will say it: I am a fan of Enimen as well. Own his Curtain Call album. It may make me strange, it may make me insensitive, but gosh darnit I like him. He has made me laugh, reflect, grow a little, all that jazz. Man's made some dumb things in his life, relationships may be an undignified mess, but his music moved me and I stand by that. You like him? Then you like him, and that is that.

152. Walter is perhaps my newest and most favorite disturbed scientist, but... that and Jeanne may be the only saving graces here. I don't really find any of the other characters interesting, and the love between lead lady and dead within the first episode boyfriend bored me something fierce.

Well, I think it's good to wear costumes that fit, but to have to only cosplay fat characters? Where does that leave you? That's like saying only people with blonde hair and gigantic tits can cosplay as Matsumoto from Bleach.

I think fat people can cosplay as whoever they want, but should try to wear stuff that actually fits their body. Just like everyone else.

Way to miss the entire point of the series. :| It wasn't a commentary on how obsessed people are with their computers or how people don't seek real relationships (because, if you don't recall, Chii does have feelings, lol; that's why it is fiction, because even if she is a man-made android, she's special in being able to feel emotions); it was supposed to be touching in showing that maybe love goes deeper than sex and HERRO HERE, the guy gave up sex because he wanted to be with her, not for the ease of a relationship. :| It's more about finding your soulmate, no matter who or what they are, (why it emphasizes 'special persons') than anything.

101. I think you should tell this to your friend, no matter how you go about it. Anonymously is fine, but a F!S isn't good enough. She can ignore this. You need to tell her in a way that she can't ignore.

107. I've always disliked Chobits without having read it because the outward concept of it didn't appeal at all to me. I've still never seen it and didn't even know what it was about. But your secret--specifically that he gave up sex and a 'real realation' to be with a computer--makes me actually interested in it. Why are those bad things? Would you say someone who has a long-distance relationship is wasting their time, even if they never get to have sex with their partner, and only get to talk to them over the computer or, maybe, telephone? Do you think people who can't/don't have sex are unhappy? I don't know how it's presented in the show, but I can completely see how that's romantic. Sex is not everything. Love presents itself in different ways. Loving a "robot" is just as valid as a "real" relationship. I am sorry you are to shallow to realize that.

107. Wasn't the point that love is supposed to transcend all boundaries, even humanity? I wouldn't say Chii had no real feelings, cause what are those anyway? Hideki genuinely cared about her, and I'd say she understood that and reciprocated it. This is CLAMP kids, not a scholarly assessment of the dangers of a computer based society. Plus, they do deal with the issue of real women in the manga and the morality of it alot. I never finished the series, but yeah, From what I understood it wasn’t that bad.
