153. That'd be a bad cosplay on a thin person, too. On the other hand, I've seen very good fat cosplayers. It all depends on the skill they have in putting together the outfit, portraying the character, and choosing cosplays that look good on their bodytype.

153. Actually, being on the zaftig side can work very well with some kinds of costume looks, like Renaissance or English Tudor. I think the important thing is that your outfit should *fit* and not look like it was borrowed from someone half your size and age.

Okay, I have lawled at my fair share of cottage-cheese thighs forced into too-small spandex BUT some of the best cosplay I have seen were of people who were larger than the character they were dressed as. I hate that people like the one in the picture automatically become the poster children for heavier people who cosplay. There are plenty of people out there who are of an average weight that shoved themselves into ill-fitting costumes and looked completely terrible as well. People just need to be honest with themselves about their body types and get clothes that fit.

Also, I think we need more chubby anime characters.

115. Hahaha, funny finding this secret the same day I tore through a good deal of chapters and got up to 316.
Well, I've come to like that kind of characters EXACTLY because of their flaws, myself, thus nullifying the "Draco" effect. Like, not overlooking any of its faults and flaws, but appreciating them as part of the character.
In short, I liked him too, so no harm. He's a crazy evil bastard, but a very well-written one. And he spurred several funny moments too, like him randomly making weird faces when Uryuu is trying to address him.

And, well, he's actually kinda good-looking without the heavy make-up, but there's still the whole "he might well dissect you" thing. So, I agree. But the idea of him meddling in Uryuu/Nemu with his mad scientist antics is terribly amusing XD

Stop putting "fat" in quotation marks. It's a subjective thing, yes, but it's important to stop thinking of fat as some kind of horrible insult rather than just a descriptor.

102. Yes! I thought she was awesome and way more kickass than Ruby, who is certainly rubbing me the wrong way this season. (And who can hate a VMars alum??)

119. They certainly are turning him more into a caricature in order to play up his comedic effect, which I don't think at all is necessary in the show. That being said though I still enjoy his character lots, I just wish they would tone those parts down a bit.

141. That was the worst character death on Heroes, ever. (And that's saying something.) There was no symbolism, no particular plot point, just killing him to revive a villain that is already on my nerves (and did we really need more Petrellis on this show???) I loved him in S2 and the bouts he had with Hiro. He's not the straw that broke this camel's back, but because of that and a lot of other things I really don't think I'll be watching the whole season.

Lassiter just had so much more depth and dynamic in the pilot because he was sleeping with his partner. When the show was picked up it was like they'd completely erased that part of his character and just made him so boxy. He's now so black-white when there used to be so much gray in him. He's still my favorite in the series, but still... *sigh* Can't they make him human once in a while?

I also love how I base this theory on one episode of Psych-- lol.
