107. People think it's a cute romantic comedy? Ok, I agree with you that it shouldn't be seen like that as a whole, but I also agree that it can be seen from a lot of different angles.

Also, way to miss the point about the sex. If someone is willing to give up sex for love, then I think that's one of the most romantic things you can do. And no one ever said Hideki and Chii's relationship was going to be easy, even at the end of the series.

I would classify this series as a cute series. Well, in the respect that there are a ton of cute moments and when I ever think on the series, those are the first things I think about.

I like this series because it felt so different than other CLAMP series, and if it wasn't for the artwork I wouldn't have guessed they made it. I also like the discussion of AI transsending program and gaining emotions/souls/etc, and any storyline that suggests it.

I love this series, but I can totally see why some people would hate it.

126. I resent all the people who have become "fans" of the Beatles because of Across the Universe, since most of the ones I have personally encountered don't actually know any of their music outside of what was in that movie. Which does a poser makes.

Usually I'm similarly apprehensive about people getting into them via other bands because I have this sort of mindset that if some trendy flash in the pan band of today covers them, that people will associate the song only with that contemporary band not the Beatles themselves. But, you know, if you genuinely like the Beatles and enjoy their music then who cares if you were introduced to them via some other band? There are a bunch of bands/artists that I was introduced to because other fav bands of mine love them.

151. I think you can be a feminist or just progressive thinking without that having to dictate what you enjoy for entertainment. Because, you know, it's just that: entertainment. It doesn't necessarily reflect on you as an individual. Although god knows people (myself occasionally included) can be judgmental in that way.

133 I think it's the best movie ever made. I love the hell out of that movie and I'm so glad to see someone making secrets about it. It appeals to me as a manic-depressive and as someone who considers themselves a mediocrity and/or a waste of talent.

149 Sauce on the artwork plz! I love Nobuteru Yuki and would love to have high-res scans of the other characters. (Also, I prefer Sam and Keith.)

151 I'm pretty feminist and I don't have a problem watching those movies either. But I think a lot of that has to do with the context of the films and the fact that they were made in a different time than the one we currently live in. Now that we're supposedly so enlightened, I probably wouldn't put up with rampant sexism and misogyny if it appeared in a current film. (And I haven't seen any of the very recent Bond films so I can't make a judgment on those either way.)
