138. Agreed so, so much. I watched this film yesterday, and readily admit I only found out about it because of Jensen. It started out okay, and I thought, hey, maybe this is one of those nice slightly bittersweet feel-good movies, not too bad... If the ending was truly meant to be seen as happy, I can only feel sorry and a little bit sick.

As a Mohinder fan, I never had any illusions that sometimes he didn't make the best decisions. I think the fact that I love him despite the rash choices he makes isn't a bad thing, but I understand where you're coming from... it annoys me when Mohinder gets bashed for being an "idiot" when no one seems to comment on Peter's epic fail.

One of the reasons why I find hard to watch Heroes now, even if I love it is because it seems that since... the last three episodes of season 1, everyone has been hit with the idiot stick. From Isaac who could paint the future letting himself get killed because he supposedly knew how Sylar was beaten (Even if Sylar *wasn't* quite beaten, to Matt who forgets every now and then that he can read minds, to Peter who deserves a very special encyclopedia of all the mistakes he has made... it looks as if everyone just acts the way the plot requires them to act and not as a character with their experience/education would act... and unfortunately, is more obvious in Mohinder who is supposed to be if not a genius, at least pretty damn smarter than the rest of the cast.

That said, I still think Hiro is the one currently winning the 'Most idiotic decision ever' in S3

101. What's funny about him, to me, is that he takes everything out of context. Only an idiot would take what they talk about as real news. It takes someone well aware of the state of the world and current events to be able to see just what the Daily Show is pointing out.

Stephen Colbert isn't any better; his show and character are nothing short of satire of Conservative pundits.

1. The Daily Show has never claimed they were a 'real' news show.

2. If people feel that The Daily Show does a better job of reporting the news than the official news networks, that's a pretty sad statement on the quality of official news networks in the US, not the viewers of TDS.

101 Anyone who depends on the Daily Show for actual news is a fucking moron. It's supposed to be a comedic commentary on the news. Even Jon Stewart has said repeatedly that it's not a real news show. I don't hate Jon Stewart, but I don't understand the whole cult following the Daily Show has among Democrats.

I never liked that video. I also didn't like that fucking "Euphoria" AMV (Raxephon) when it won best video at AX. I agree that it's just a bunch of visual editing crap and that's not what AMVs are supposed to be all about. AMVs are supposed to be about a perfect marriage of song and anime. Editing shouldn't be the main focus. The FLCL "My Iron Lung" video is a great AMV. "Skittles" is shit.

101. I love Jon Stewart, because he doesn't take himself or his show seriously. I have to second sailorptah's comment. I find Colbert irritating though. Jon Stewart talks and makes fun of the news, Colbert just talks about himself (just like O'Reilly, so I guess that's the point...)

102. I'm one of the most hardcore Red Sox fans out there, but I will admit to a ~*~forbidden crush~*~ on Longo....wait, what did I just say?! I can't help it, he's only twenty-three and he hits like no one's business. Ridiculous. Pena, Baldelli, Upton, and Kazmir are pretty cool too. But otherwise...EW RAYS!! >P GO SOX!!

107. It wasn't until the most recent movie that I really started to like them as a couple. I was a little irritated that they took up so much of the third movie that no one else had a good subplot like Ryan's in HSM2, or even Troy and Gabriella being seen with issues revolving around other people than each other in HSM1, but they were really cute, especially in the tree-house scene, the little part in "Now or Never", and "Can I Have This Dance?" And I like how Troy and Gabriella are an interracial couple, but a big deal is never made of it. The diversity in the HSM movies is ftw in general though :)
