OMG, Shin-Chan. My friends and I went crazy through New York Comic Con with the Shin-Chan speechbubbles on sticks that FUNImation had out. There must be a gazillion shots of us holding them up next to cosplayers. Because nothing says funny like Kamina from Gurran Laggen stating, "Last person to the basement is the dead hooker!" or Zuko from Avatar declaring, "To be a man one must have honor, honor, and a penis."

All clamp fandoms are like that. The only place with an amount of non-canon shippers worth mentioning is Cardcaptor Sakura, where the "multishipping" is limited to the hordes of Eriol/Tomoyo fans, and it is understood by all that nobody above the age of fifteen actually talks to them.

(I am also fed up with the fandom's obsession with SeiSub, but more because it annoys me how people insist on singling out the romance in a dynamic that is that fucked up on so many different levels)

101. Oh, I kind of know how you feel - I went from fandoms that centre around fictional characters to ones that centre around real people and it's so different, especially shipping-wise. I wasn't much of a shipper in my last two fandoms so being in a real people fandom and seeing real people shipping, particularly slash ones is just so hard for me to adjust to (and yes, even though I saw it here, it was never with people I cared much about so I didn't pay much attention to it). Hmm, it gets easier though - you adjust.

It's really not that much of a spoiler if you pay attention during the game. During the Master Miller parts, he's not using his horrible British accent. Also, if you played Metal Gear 2 and talked to the Master Miller in that game, he's Japanese. It's just supposed to prove that Snake is really really dense sometimes most of the time.
