161. Look. I don't like cosplaying or costumes for that matter, but for heaven's sake I don't belittle the people that do it and enjoy it. The few cosplayers I know are aware that you can't duplicate the look of the characters exactly, but they do it for fun. Don't instantly group cosplayers into the batshit otakukin category.

168. You brought up a good point there. While there's nothing wrong with disliking female characters, people tend to throw "whore" and other such insults around to describe them, and the phrases in the picture look all too familiar.

174. One of the things about fictional characters is that you don't have to subscribe to their morals or activities to like them, especially psychotic characters. People that like the Joker, Doom, Two-Face, Rorschach, or the Comedian most likely don't endorse what they do. Most of them are fully aware of how repulsive, immoral and crazy these characters are, but characters whose elevators don't reach all the way to the top floor tend to be very entertaining due to the fact that they aren't as restrained by as many principles as heroes are. Of course there are some "omg so edgy" idiots and tweens that fanfart over characters like that way too much and take it too far, but they're just the minor grouping of teenyboppers that are vocal enough to be heard.

Tl;dr: Liking a crazy/immoral character =/= endorsing their philosophies or actions.
