Porn doesn't have to be that mechanical. In my view, the most satisfying written erotica is based on your preferred focus - emotions, sensations, and a mood appropriate to the characters and situation. (cuddly mutual happy fun, an awkward first time, angst!sex, rough and ready, etc.) The basic goings-on might be similar, but they can be conveyed differently depending on the intended overall effect.

Not really. Half of those manga on the NO! side weren't shojou but shounen manga. And I like shojou manga such as Fruits Basket, Aishiteruze Baby, Baby and Me and Peach Girl. But again, I like their art as well. I simply don't like art where it looks like it was done by some kid with a handful of "how to Draw Manga" books. Manga like that bores me.

you've probably proven your own point here, and looking at the responses (in which not a single one is a HELL YEAH ME TOO), I feel kind of badly for you, supposing you are not a troll looking to stir up shit. Is 'hate' really the word you're looking for, or is it 'don't understand' or 'don't respect' or some variation thereof? I have friends that don't like cosplay, so they just don't look at it. I wonder why it bothers you enough to need to make a fandomsecrets post about it.

Cosplay as a concept has a lot of stigma attached to it, though; while online you most certainly won't find people who agree with you, if you have any non-fandom friends, you will find plenty of people with which to bitch about how stupid cosplayers are. Hope you can get out your RAEG in a healthy manner.

Katie Cassidy is pretty fucking awful, but she's not as horrible as Cortese. My dad hates this show, and he was watching IKWYDLS (mostly because I wanted someone to rant to) and he told me she was the most dull and untalented part of the show.

But I forgot, that's the writers' fault, not hers.

Don't get me wrong, the writers have made a mess with Ruby, but Cortese is the salt being rubbed into the wound that was Ruby's character.
