I know there are different kinds of love, and that people can still remain friends, but I don't think you understand that it doesn't go that way most of the time. When A and B start dating, they act very differently and become less attached to C no matter how much they love them platonicly. It's happened to me and other people I know, and I'm sure we're not the only ones.

That doesn't mean to say that I want you to start shipping OT3's, but it's just that it's a lot harder than it appears to be to keep a relationship when two are dating.

153 - Why does it matter, honestly. They recast it after the pilot for whatever reason. I think crying anti-racism is a little much though. If anything, I think they just went for ~prettier. I've watched both versions, and they're both fine. I'm happy they kept George as is though.. I adored him in the History Boys. ETA - upon doing some reading, it also appears that the original ghost moved on to bigger and better things since it took so long to commission the series following the pilot.

Confronting gender issues hurts. Like you wouldn't believe. It's intimidating and terrifying and just plain hurts, and really, it doesn't get much easier with time and experience - a little, maybe, but it never gets easy, because even when you can accept and deal with it on a personal level, there are people everywhere on this planet who'll give you a hard time. But facing it head-on is better than locking it away and letting it stew and rot you away from the inside out. If you keep on ignoring it, someday you'll reach the point where you have to do something about it or it'll kill you. I hope you can find the strength to face your issues before it gets to that point, because it's not a pretty place to be. Trust me.
