155 - I understand what you mean, but I disagree. I think he's started getting stuck in roles where he plays only creepy and/or weird characters, but they're weird and creepy in different ways. I can't say I can think of any other character like Jack Sparrow.

170 - The sad thing is I understand how you feel. I haven't found fandom friends like many other people, but I'm still thankful for it. I think fandom has helped me grow, though it's in a morbid way. I've figured out the exact kind of person I don't want to be from fandom. Sad, but true. I'm not saying that every person I've met is just mean and awful, but just the way people interact is discouraging.

You are so wrong.

Eh, isn't this in the same ballpark as anyone who's ever been involved in fandom? I mean, writing fics about, RPing, saying you're "spoiled for other men/women" because of, etc., fictional characters/worlds/ that you've never actually met or experienced? And he actually met the girl, so he has us one-upped, I guess.

That being said, I love fandom, and I love that song.

144 -- I say "if I was" all the time. Maybe it's because I'm in the South where we get a little lazy with our language. I usually talk like that when I'm with my friends. But if I'm speaking formally to someone or writing a paper, I know the correct grammar to use. And anyway, there's no need to be so formal. Jeez, lighten up.
