As someone who likes the show: Probably because it's pretty immature humor. It's also a fairly flawed show, which means it's jokes either very funny or very, very not (to me, at least), and there are enough misses for it to be embarrassing to watch it for the hits.

137. I feel exactly the same way. When it's younger characters I... just don't care. Sure, they could hook up. But then they could break up, and that's ok, too. The only couples I actively want to see together (and stay together) in canon are comprised of middle-age and older characters, such as Roslin/Adama or Michael/Holly.
