I think it's more of a case of finding Anglophiles, weeaboos (people in that vein) annoying. In other words, people who refuse to see a country for what it is and only like the 'good' aspects or what is presented in TV shows.

(I don't just know Five, BTW... but if it weren't for BBCK airing Classic Who sometimes in Canada, I wouldn't know any other older Doctors besides him). C'mon, Doctor Who period is hard to find in some countries, letalone really old episodes of it.

Amen. I honestly don't see why people feel the need to look down at others because of x, y, or z. Fandom is supposed to be fun and tv shows are wonderful to watch! Why all this "if you do this, I judge/can't respect you". Do they think their respect and judgments really matter all that much?
