Yes indeed. I actually just finished it today!

But idk, when I was sitting in the theater to watch TDK, the trailer came on and I was like "OIFAJOFSIDO AWESOME...but what's Watchmen?" and practically all the people I went with were all "ZOMG WTF U DON'T KNOW!?!?! HOW DARE YOU" and such.

126: Well, if we were going to be "realistic" or at least go off of each country's own symbolism for itself, then the UK would be a beautiful woman (Brittania, anyone?) and the USA would be an hold man with a top hat (Uncle Sam). France would be a beautiful woman as well (Lady Liberty)...and I'm sure there are a whole host of other examples for every other nation.

This is also been my main reason for not getting totally fangasmy for this series. It could have been sooo much cooler if it was just all bishounen.

Agreed. I've never seen the stage show, admittedly. I'd never heard of it until the movie showed up on F!S. One of my friends, having seen how popular it was on LJ recently, rented it and so we all got together and watched it. Well. Except we stopped it about halfway through. Because it was awful.

Can someone explain to me why people like it? The music was terrible, the actors couldn't sing (Except Tony Head, but the music was so poorly written that it didn't mater), and the acting was awful. Did I mention the music was terrible? Seriously, opera is all about music. We only watched as long as we did because we kept waiting for it to get better, since so many people here loved it, but it was just so unbearable that we eventually gave up.

So, fans of Repo? I'm... extremely confused as to what you see in it. I mean, obviously a bunch of people like it, so there must be something good about it, but none of the four of us could figure out what. ...Help? D:

It's the same with me. I guess it's because I'm not even a fan of MCR. I don't like their past albums, nor any of their songs, but...when the single for The Black Parade came out, even I was shocked to find out it was them. I love the concept, and to add (LOLOL, I may get killed for this?) despite the fact that Black Parade was the only song I knew from this album, I bought it anyway because the whole thing was drawn by JAMES JEAN.

Thank God for the fact that I do like the songs XD

A LOT of people. Lots of people think bisexuality "doesn't exist", which as a bisexual pisses me off. Because like people are like PICK ONE. Or YOU LIKE ONE GENDER MORE SO THAT MAKES YOU NOT BISEXUAL. Or BISEXUALS ARE JUST PEOPLE TOO HORNY TO STICK TO ONE GENDER. (I've heard all three before). And TV just makes it worse because anyone who IS bisexual on TV is generally made to "choose" and that's NOT HOW IT WORKS.

My general feelings towards Vorenus were a sort of convoluted love hate love hate love not thing, but I think killing Niobe was the essential point of his later development. As for Pullo, I don't know... I don't love him for killing Gaia. The whole thing left me kind of blah.

I KNOW! Where is the fandom, damnit?

I know why he had to kill Niobe, because they'd put the whole thing there for a reason, and they obviously had to follow through on it at some point, so the whole downward spiral thing made sense. Still, I had a hard time swallowing the fact that I was supposed to sympathise with him and kinda did when he destroyed his own life, and the lives of his wife and kids.

The whole thing left me kind of blah.

Same here. I'd liked Gaia up to that point- she was kind of a foil for Eirene, she was nice to Vorena, and she didn't give off any evil vibes. Since they'd already foreshadowed the pregnancy going badly, why did they bother with the poison? I don't get it. :(

Well if we're having a worse feminist contest, I . . . still kinda /ship Vorenus/Niobe. I can't help it! They were so sweet towards the end of Season One! *sniff*
