146. If the roleplayer had any sense, or if YOU had any sense, you'd play all the games with Daisy in them and see how very, very wrong the rper was.

Unfortunately you seem to be incapable of doing your own research, gg.

150. You're probably right. LOL

110 - it's both. Shinji isn't exactly the poster child for stability - but it doesn't mean that his feelings aren't real. I tend to lean towards the "Shinji is a serious fuckup, but he did have genuine feelings for Kaworu" In regards to Asuka on the other hand....following a life script, man. Just following a life script....

118 - So don't read it. Pff, duh.

151 - OH GOD thank you. Every appearance after The Eye/The Storm just made it more and more pastiche until the final indignity of a fuckin' western ripoff. Should have left it at the two parter, and then there would have been a memorable enemy.

163. I... admit to being guilty of a version of this lol. ^^; I was introduced to KH, FFXII, InuYasha... oi, most of my favorites, actually by RPing them before I actually played/watched them because someone just wanted to play. It always feels really uncomfortable at first—I'm terrified that I'll get something horrifically wrong. Funnily enough, I'm usually told I nailed them. o.O (Larsa, Sora, Axel, I am looking at you, bbs.)

Maybe it helps that I try to be a research fanatic. If I don't know character X, I try to check out their backgrounds, the series, etc, just to make sure I have it right. But there's really no substitute for watching/playing first, imo.

For characters that don't even really exist yet... no. Just no. There's not even any background material or general knowledge to go by! That's kind of inane.

105. I don't think it'll affect me THAT much but I am going for the first time this year and I am TERRIFIED that it won't live up to the amazing event I have imagined in my head.
135. I would normally judge someone for something like that but because it’s Eddie Izzard I’m okay with it.
141. Emmitt was way too good for Ted.
164. I NEED THIS TO BE A FIC RIGHT NOW!!

117. Same. I kinda shipped it before but that scene made me ship it SO SO hard. I actually rewinded it and watched it again about 20 times XDD

135. Eddie is the reason I want to become fluent in french, and marry a transvestite comedian.

104. Oh yeah, adorable. *is sick*

109. Hell yeah! And best "sci-fi" show ever - though it was a weird mix and can't be pigeonholed. If I still had the SciFi Channel, I'd watch the marathon every New Year's.

115. *sigh* This just reinforces my opinion that B5 fans are among the touchiest out there. I give up on shows I LIKE because of the time demand. Why would I stick it out through the long haul if a few episodes from ANY part of a series don't float my boat at all? I take it you're assuming that said person is completely unfamiliar with the story arc? I read a synopsis of the whole damn thing and I still found it resistible. But it's all a matter of what grabs one, and what doesn't.

165. Please tell me there's some Beatrix/Budd fic out there....

I find Liz really pathetic too. Winding up like her is one of my worst nightmares, to be honest.

135. Eddie Izzard is one reason why I love history the way that I do. He did Hetalia before Hetalia was conceived. The man's a genius, and one of my favorite comedians at that.

The best advice I can give you is to make a point not to care about being a "social 'tard", and to just have fun. Hilariously, that's what fandom taught me that helped me feel okay about myself IRL.

I had no friends, was frustrated, and hated on myself a lot. After encountering fandom, I decided to work on not caring about being unable to get the social bullshit. Started out on line- be nice to everyone, squee, and if no one joins you? chances are you wouldn't have kept it up anyways. Did the same thing in Real Life- I was nice to every one and purposely stayed oblivious to what people around me thought of it. Within a year, I no longer had people bully me openly and I had people to talk to- but more importantly, I was happy with myself. By the end of two years, I had my own group of friends who I hung out with when before I was lucky to have one actual friend.

tl;dr- the best way to overcome the part of being blind to social stuff is to pretend that you either don't care about them or that you are oblivious to your inability to relate.

(I wish I could say this same thing to my BF, he thinks of himself ass a monster because he doesn't get it.)

You know what? I love that man.

Except I wasn't afraid to admit it. :P He's one of my favorite presidents, and really. He should be proud of the all the undeserved hate he receives. People are so brainwashed by the media. ;]

&& politics out, he's adorable.

She isn't a goddess and the amount of ass kissing she gets is frightening. She only wants to show herself and has no real regard for source material. She isn't and won't be a good writer. Ever.

Where could one find details on this "coming back" spoiler? *intrigued*

Also, I only watch it casually (I catch every second or third episode. My boyfriend is v into it), and I very very rarely cry at books, and TV shows even less, and Clannad still makes me tear up, especially now that stupidly cute child has shown up. I don't know how they do it.

149. I do too… I never could get into movieverse, but I miss any fandom at all…

I loved that movie! Makes me want to reread the book again and I loved how fluid the animation was (there was also this cool 3-d bit after the credits).

D: Did they dislike it because it ddin't have any of what you listed in your secret?

Hon, I started out about as socially retarded as you can imagine - I'm talking worse than Zoidberg from Futurama awful - and I promise, it is possible with practise to get a bit better :). Especially if you have a few people with the patience to help point out when you're doing it wrong (not even friends, necessarily), and the guts to admit to people that you're socially clueless and could do with pointers when you're accidentally being annoying or mean.

Sure, sometimes it's a struggle, but it is worth it. Autistics, Aspergers and Dyspraxics all tend to have similar problems by nature. And if you're reading this, I for one would love to help out.
