Okay. I don't see the appeal in the lolicon aspect of the series (and avoid the anime like the plague anyway) and only got into it because I thought her teacher was hot. Now that I'm further along in the manga though, the fan service has toned down quite a bit and the plot is going along nicely. I'm not invested in the characters as well and hope her teacher can get her out of the situation she's in and change her mindset about how to act appropriately.

Gah, it's something that really winds me up. He is, to my mind, too romantic in his views on both men. I do think it's more complicated than simply supporting either unquestioningly however and I also don't doubt that he believed very earnestly what he said in his acceptance speech but I do find his silence on this point aggravating. As Sean Penn so often is, really. :/

137) AGREED, to an extent. I ALWAYS put my classwork (which I have TONS more of as a college student V_V;) before fandom related stuff. But I do doodle/draw when I'm in class. I actually focus better if I keep my hands occupied (I can't sit still for the life of me), but I always make sure I'm taking notes/doing classwork/whatever.

FANDOM IS AWESOME, BUT, C'MON PEOPLE... RL IS MORE IMPORTANT.

#150 Chavez and gay rights in your country are two different matters and they're not related.

While i hate that Sean supports that man him winning an oscar for playing a gay character and speaking against homophobia was still a good thing to do, it doesn't change the fact that he supports a dictator of course but was still a good speech, more celebrities should talk about gay rights.
