127. Me too. I really love their music, have seen them live twice, and get really annoyed that most people think of their music as novelty CanCon. They're one of my favourite bands of all time and I still think I haven't forgiven Steven for the possession, let alone leaving the band.

Plus, I think Steven had the most beautiful voice and he's an amazing songwriter and it just makes me sad.

143. I hear you. Sometimes the tiniest detail done wrong sets my teeth on edge, but when a show or movie decides to plunge head-first into anachronism, I will love it like Ianto loves pie. (See icon.) Plus, Kiefer's really cute in that movie.

127 - oh, bb, I'm so sorry. Really, I'm more worried about him - he has a history of depression you know. And after splitting with his wife and the drug bust, leaving the band wasn't that surprising... but it made me worried. I just hope more than anything that he's okay, and that he'll be okay. Try not to be too hurt by this, okay? Look forward to what the band will do next, and what Steve will do (he was my favorite too). If you haven't checked out Kevin's solo stuff or Jim and Andy Creeggan's stuff, I would - it might help. :) And they're all pretty epic.

152: I have lamented about the same. I could forgive it if Muse's music at all suited Twilight, but Muse is beyond an entirely different genre. I mean, Hysteria? Map of the Problematique? Stockholm Syndrome? Epic, amazing, sometimes frightening songs. Not so much good for sparkly romance.

However, taking into account the connection between Muse and Twilight does make me wonder if, perhaps, Meyer is smarter than we give her credit for, and if she -- possibly -- realizes that Bella and Edward's relationship is creeeeeeeeepy, and is currently as flabbergasted as the rest of us that such a dysfunctional, borderline abusive relationship is so well-loved and treated like Prince Charming and Snow white. Because, seriously. Stockholm Syndrome. You don't parallel a band that writes a song like that to a supposed "perfect romance." You just don't.
