well yeah haha i knew that. i mean, i'm out of high school now but i know that most of the fanbase is like 12 years old. which isn't exactly the age of the avg. high school student, but not the point of the secret. :o

I love Firefly, just about every episode, but I can so relate to what you said about fans being snobs about other series due to it.

I had an easy time getting people to love Firefly once they actually saw it, but Buffy and Angel? It's like they have these preconceived notions about those series and won't give them a chance. I just want to say, "Look, Firefly was a bit different, but it's still JOSS and many of the themes you loved in Firefly you'll love in Buffy and Angel as well."

110 :: There are incredibly many different people in this fandom, I think you'd find the ones you can get along with / think the same. As for fics, I don't know anything about your writing abilities, but to fear not being good enough? 75% of fanfics are complete utter shit. :D And you can only develop if you try. All in all, the Naruto fandom has a great amount of shit/blindfangirls/brats/wankers, but if you get past that, it can be amazing. :)

Yeah, it worries me, too. Not so much that he lacks role models -- I mean, prseumably you can learn a lot by negative examples, too, and the Dursleys were an entire college course in that sense. 140: Haha, yeah, it's okay. The hype that comes up during movie time makes it seem more legendary than it definitely is. Right now, I expect the same will be done with "Star Trek", which... actually is legendary. But more like, suddenly there are all these Star Trek fans who didn't exist before!

147: From those photos, I can SORT OF see it... Just remember, JB is very all-American, wholesome-looking. Tom Cruise is kind of narrow-faced. I never found him that attractive.

tb5: Lost at least WAS a good show, I don't know about now. It's usually the intrigue that's interesting, not the characters, good lord no. And I felt the exact same about "Supernatural", but it actually has a good sense of humor about itself, and can be very entertaining. People who take the angst and plot super seriously are doing too much, though.

157: I ship them both too~ :) Though I ship Mugen/Zero all the way to high heaven.
Sadly it is hard to find fanart if you don't know where to look, especially with Zero/Infi, they have pretty much no fanbase at all. Mugen/Zero has a...pretty good sized Japanese fanbase, but the English fanbase is pretty scattered, I had to create a club on DeviantART to help draw a few fans in ( http://antipodeanshipping.deviantart.com/, in case you want to look at our fanart/fanfics). I've found a good amount of fanart for them...I'm actually only 9 photos away from having a collection of 400 Mugen/Zero pics (Call me obsessed if you will, I like to refer to myself as 'tenacious'.)

I still wish that there was more Zero/Infi fanart out there, they're so cute together...
