117. It's alright? I'm mostly on the same boat as you, minus the Dan/Adrian (the film didn't really make me ship anything). Liked Dan/Laurie fine in the comic, but it suffered from running time and HALLELUJAH in the film.

155. I can get why people would use the term "graphic novel" (besides considering it "high literature"--some use it to refer to collective volumes of chapters/stories, as others have mentioned) but I also get what you're saying. It bugs me when people get that way about the term "cartoons" too.

168. Yeah. I remember back in the Fullmetal Alchemist fandom I was a fan of the anime and kept getting irritated with the manga fans' constant nitpicking of it. Since I've gotten into Watchmen and nitpicked about the film...I feel kind of hypocritical about it. But it did give me some fan perspective.

112. I'm wondering what the writers are really planning on doing with her. She's been next to useless for most of the season, and after finding out she was a Cylon, kinda turned into a rampaging moralless bitch.

120. Now, see, I was surprised she didn't go through with it. Because there's been her standing threat of "If you're a Cylon, I'm going to frakking kill you". And yeah, that was far more of a touching scene than anything with her and Lee pretty much ever. I dearly hope they don't go through with a Lee/Kara ending. That's the one thing that could piss me off.

My personal headcanon for EBA has gotten pretty detailed over the last several months, though I'm still developing my headcanon for the Ouendan. But I have some firmly set ideas regarding their various personalities and relationships, and man does it make me happy to know I'm not the only one overthinking these games and loving it.

And wow, someone who doesn't rivalship either. That's hard to come by.

I was starting to think I was either all alone, way too bitchy towards an imagined majority, or that noone would even see this. But if I see one more fansite with nothing but Tanaka/Kikuchi I'll rip my hair out. It's not that I super hate all rivalships or anything, but other ideas are nice too sometimes, you know?

My EBA headcanon is pretty slim and entirely non-serious business (it's EBA, how could it be too serious), but I still tend to just take on whatever ideas the fanmeme tosses around. A kindred spirit like you makes me want to obsess ridiculously over EBA too :D

I mean, a lot of people get pissy about bandwagoning, but I don't think it's fair unless said fan is pretending they've been in it forever or act like they (hee, "You Quit!" from the score just came up on my shuffle as I was typing this) ~get it~ better than long-term fans or something...unless you're annoying about it, there's really nothing wrong with bandwagoning. ...Or if you ask lots of stupid questions without doing the research first. That's annoying.
