Oh man, when I first saw your secret, I was so confused. I was 90% sure that I hadn't made it, but it's exactly how I feel (on both RE not being in the remake and how TB should play Freddy instead if it can't be RE), so I was wondering if maybe I made and submitted this secret while I was drunk. Hahahaha. But, I don't think I did that. So, whoever you are, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. :D

103: IMO, you're better than most fans that got into it AFTER the movie came out. I don't think you were jumping on the bandwagon, you were genuinely interested in the comic, and even though you got interested because of the movie, at least you got interested. You ARE a real fan, no matter what anyone says.

101. You're not alone. When my favorite character died in '24' I mourned for what felt like aeons. When I rp? I feel my muses emotions. Just try to cheer yourself up by watching Charlie The Unicorn or something on Youtube. (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=&search_query=charlie+the+unicorn&aq=0&oq=charlie+the+uni) You can't go wrong if you put a banana in your ear. I think it's normal to feel things when you RP. J.K. Rowling said she was bawling her eyes out when she wrote certain death scenes in the series. Just don't let it consume you-- but don't feel strange. If one of the greatest authors in the world feels what you feel and doesn't get thrown into a nuthouse I think you'll be fine. :) I think it's normal and healthy, honestly. It means your passionate about something. When baseball players win The World Series we see fans, players, and coaches cry right? They're so happy. When people win awards for best actress or actor they cry, right? Kate Winslet was bawling her eyes out when she won her award this year. When you're passionate about something, no matter what it is, you're bound to feel emotions-- even if they're your characters or you're feeling something for a character. I hope I'm making sense. :D

It's great that you've turned a new leaf, but seriously, nothing could open your eyes before DC women? LOOK AROUND YOU--empowered women are everywhere, and they're not necessarily all superheroes. 101. You know, I think I can sympathize, OP. While I haven't been RPing this one particular OC of mine for years or anything (though I've been writing him for ages), after sitting and thinking about it, I definetly began to see lot of correlation in our behaviors. Both bipolar, for one (though he is less mood-swingy than I), both surrounded by people but ultimately lonely, withdrawn, normally rather mellow and playful, etc etc. And after thinking that, the fact that there are times where he's acutely suicial started to alarm me: I'm not subconciously thinking the same, am I?

But then, I also think: maybe RPing this OC has become a healthy way for me to vent problems like that? So perhaps yours was doing the same for you, allowing you to channel those thoughts and emotions without putting yourself at risk, if that makes sense? That could explain with you're so attached, if your OC contributes to your own stress relief, regardless if you're conciously aware of it or not.

Perhaps if you really fear for your health, maybe try bringing her back from the dead and RPing again (among other methods, like counselling) and see if that doesn't help things. Or there's always the other end of the spectrum, dropping the character entirely and finding other creative outputs for yourself. S-Sorry, that was long winded and rambly, and I apologize :') But yeah! Hang in there, OP!
