... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and I'll try my best to use an appropriate image choice.

Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made. I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

The main reason why I'll never read or watch Outlander is because I've read the Lord John books and I know the main series just never mentions Stephan von Namtzen. I really liked him and John together and am pouting that he's not John's endgame love interest (if John is allowed to ever truly get over Jaime ugh).
I feel like that's a way pettier reason than the ones many other people have (the rape stuff for example).

I quiet like age differences in my smut fics but as soon as the word "daddy" is uttered I'm out. I just recoil so hard and can't read on. Sadly so many fics use it without having daddy kink tagged.

why are so many people impressed with Sisko hitting Q? Why does anybody think it's a smart or cool move to just clock a being with his powers? Amazed Q didn't just turn him into a bug or something for that, he did temporarily turn Dr. Crusher into a dog just for yelling at him.

Been in three fandoms where it became a HUGE trend to draw one character with black nail polish, and I've hated it every time.

First time I noticed it happening was for a character who literally could not wear nail polish at work as a safety issue. One of the characters I see it done with it feels really OOC for (largely comes from people NOT understanding the time/place/scene the character actually exists in and imposing modern aesthetics). There's one who we never see wear black nail polish in canon and I'm willing to believe they have done or would do, but I hate seeing it so much because of those other two fandoms.

I love black nail polish, but I am getting so sick of it showing up in every single piece of fanart for characters we have never seen wear it.

I have spent so many evenings listening to The Lord of the Rings ASMR & Ambience videos on YouTube. Sometimes I'll set up mood lighting and everything, complete with dinner and drinks.

With the Emmy Awards ceremony delayed to next year, I wish the TV Academy would throw out all the nominations and start over. The fixation on the same few shows over and over is just embarrassing.

I think the break-up of The Civil Wars is going to go down as one of the most tragic and mysterious events in music history.

B!S I don't believe it was infidelity on either of their parts. Something about how they went from great collaborators to barely being able to stand being in proximity to each other makes me believe the breaker was something creative. I have no evidence of course.

I respect that Greta Gerwig has been firm about Lady Bird not being autobiographical beyond some details of time and place. That being said, with the movie ending with Christine basically in the same place Greta was (most likely NYU with a writing focus) at that age, I can't help but sort of imagine that Christine is having the same future.

So when Barbie broke a billion and Greta made history, goddam was I thinking, "Fuck you Marion, she *can* pay you back for your shitty mothering!"

I don’t understand why fans of goth music think they should have a monopoly on “goth” as an identity label. People have been describing things as gothic long before like, Bauhaus was a thing. I have tried goth music and it’s fine. I like it about as much as any music genre, but I’m not much for getting super into any kind of music. I’ve never been to a concert and I can count on one hand the artists I’d consider changing that for, none of which do goth music.
OTOH I have dressed like a stereotypical goth for most of my adult life. I love gothic literature, visual art, basically any media that gets labeled as goth except for the music. Even like the architecture. So it would be really convenient if I could describe my whole deal succinctly without fans of the music genre getting pissy about it.

While I generally am all for danmei novels getting official releases, I can't help but feel a little resentful that a lot of fan translations have been taken down (even the locked/proof of purchase ones) and then all you get are years of waiting for the official releases, Amazon and other retailers cancelling preorders, downright ugly looking editions with sometimes questionable artwork choices and occasionally worse translations than the FTLs had been.

And I know it's kinda entitled so that's why this is a secret but I'm pretty annoyed atm that I actually slogged through a Chinese website and paid money for a version of a novel I can't even read just to get to the translation and then it got nuked, with others following suite.

I think if there is one word that can sum up Marvel's current woes, it is "Glib". The movies have always been quippy, but even when they were quipping they never felt glib about it. They quipped to release the pressure or defy the danger, not because it was utterly inconsequential. Marvel needs to feel like the characters will face actual consequences again.

Really not here for Sabine the Space Wizzard in Ahsoka. I preferred it when the force was the mystical thing of a special few. Wasn't Sabine being Mandalorian royalty enough for her? Keep adding stuff onto her character and we'll have to change her name...

It has been so long since I watched the BBC that I don't even know what shows they are making these days. I'm assuming still Eastenders and Doctors, as they are due to run until the end of time itself as sort of a warning to humanity, but apart from that? Not a clue.

I don't begrudge Judi Dench the money from those Money Supermarket insurance adverts, especially given her health problems pretty much killing her career, but I do so hate that that will probably be her final big role. She deserves better, dammit.

I wish people would learn to wrap up their rants some more. Literally have to listen to an employee bitch and moan every fucking day about how their coworkers suck. And it's like what the fuck do you want me to do about it??? If you just want to vent then vent but be fucking mindful that you've been batching about the same thing for the last 40 minutes and I need to go on my break. Like, yeah you've said the same thing 100 times and no matter my response or lack thereof, you're still giving the same fucking energy.

Like, bitch, learn to fucking process your fucking feelings because I'm so fucking done listening. I have work to do and when it's lunch/break time I don't want to spend any of it listening to anyone bitch about work. I just want to relax and watch some fucking YouTube videos.
