There is a big web 1.0 (or web 1.0 adjacent) movement! People making their own little sites with webrings and guestbooks, and sometimes forums too. Or helping people move away from social media to more independent social experiences etc.

I liked the first season! I just wish it had been a closed miniseries instead on ongoing.

Iirc, the show opens with him operating his family grape fields and winery. That’s not a recommendation that you watch the show at all; I watched the whole thing less than a year ago and barely remember it. It wasn’t just dark and depressing, it was dull.

Leave Picard on his family estate.

Oddly, season 3 is great and most likely TNG. All the characters actually act like TNG characters and Picard is back to being awesome again.

Seasons 1 and 2 however are garbage.

The use of “we” here really confused me. When you first commented this in the secrets-to-be-made thread, I thought you were an Irish person disputing the vibrancy of Irish film/TV industry. But now it seems you’re maybe non-English British?

Because it equates books to fanfic. Which isn't good. It also encourages people who are not knowledgeable about fics, to buy fics in physical form. Which is also not good.

And reviewers for these free fan works also treat them as books when reviewing them. And I do not think that books and fanfic should be reviewed in the same way.
