I'd KILL for a decent serious Hetalia movie. Serious as in WITH the Rape of Nanking & the Holocaust & the Hiroshima bombing in it. I would totally want it to offend a lot of people as much as possible, especially the Japanese. A serious Hetalia movie must deeply offend the Japanese, because it would show the truth about WWII. I want to see it:) The posters should look something like this:

Something like "Inglourious Basterds" with the Japs taking their rightful place beside the "Aryan master race". Offensive stuff, yeah:) Guess none other than Tarantino would have to make it.

Hell, I'd even like to see a comedy APH movie as long as they get the cast right. And I *hate* comedies.

The generally (not)known secret is that, while France was and is counted among the Allies, it spent almost the entire war under German occupation. And many many French - hundreds of thousands if not millions - readily collaborated with the Germans. France was liberated by English and American troops, and got listed among the victors for purely political reasons.

The German generals who signed the unconditional surrender found it hilarious. "Did we lose the war against them, too?" asked one of them, seeing the French representatives. The Allies did not appreciate the joke:)

I am not a man, and this is not a "crap" (or a bingo ;)). It's my sinsere wish:) Exactly what got you so riled? You Westerners are more of a mystery to me than aliens from outer space. The Star Trek ones, at least. Is it that you have no idea about what the Japanese did in WWII - which was stuff that terrified *the Nazis* for God's sake? Where was I complaining? o_O I merely said I want to see a serious APH movie that would not avoid the war's horrors. Exactly what got you people acting so strangely, hm? Don't you want to stop politically correcting me, which is useless since I'm consciously about as PC as the character representing my motherland, and think about a cast for that hypothetical movie instead?

Thank you, I have already concidered watching old American war movies. They must be a ton of fun. Do you know which ones are the best?:)

Also, the suggestion to use Google for information about Rape of Nanking and Unit 731 goes to you, too. People truly have to face reality and admit that one cannot demonize what basically were demons. How do people equate themselves with demons? - why, by acting like they were reared in hell. The Japanese in WWII pulled it off with great success.

I don't think it's necessary to sensationalize the atrocities of WWII even further through film.

There's a reason why the artist Jean Fautrier made his "Hostage" series of paintings so vague and formless; even though they directly referenced the horrors of the war directly after the war, they did not sensationalize them.

I just think that it's in bad taste.

y'know i wouldn't really mind a serious business hetalia movie, either - but you have to recognize that it's a pipe dream, it's a COMEDY ANIME/MANGA - it'll never touch on stuff like that. and WANTING it to offend? why?

there's tons of serious real movies, too, that take these negative historical situations and portray them realistic and maturely, not just with the intent of "LOLOL LET'S PISS OFF DEM JAPS"

and by continuing to hate on the MODERN countries that were the "bad guys" in a war sixty years ago, you're hardly being historically mature - dunno if you remember, but hating a specific group of people based on what they are was kind of not a good thing
