Honestly I can see how it could be an attractive experience - trying a new path and finding out how things could have gone, living without financial problems because you can effectively create Star Wars before George Lucas even starts shooting it, etc - but I think in the end you lose too much. Every time you create a new life, you know that at a precise date, some reset button is going to be pushed and everything you've ever done will be gone. It'd drive me insane.

To me the lesbian relationship feels really awkward as well, but that's because when we were first introduced to Maya I thought she was a new mom on the block and then she was written as a teenager and then sexual tension with Emily happened and it was such a jarring twist for me that I couldn't really get used to it. It still feels really awkward to me because I know the actress herself is a lot older than a teenager, even though she's aged really well a teenager role is a bit on the creepy side to me.

I think Toby's a creeper though so I guess I think both of the relationships are pretty creepy. I liked Toby/Emily first first started with the tentative gifts and meeting up but it quickly grew into awkwardville for me.
