yeah, me too. it's long been my plan. i have no desire to live through the riot phase, much less the survival phase. why would i want to live in a world with no conveniences, with subsistence living, waiting for the 'we must do this to repopulate the earth' crowd to lose that last little bit of control? nope. have one last good time and say so long to the world. i find that people don't like it when i say that. they have grand plans for taking over pawn shops and wal-marts, but why? zombies gonna get you in the end, if the dude one aisle over doesn't.

Wheatley did definitely seem to be selfishly motivated at the beginning, but being attached to GLaDOS's body also changed him noticeably; he wasn't entirely himself when he was being evil. (Remember, we know it messes with their brain circuits by at least creating a test addiction and possibly more.)

Which isn't to say he's totally innocent or anything, but it's not as if he was just a dick the whole time.

That said, I did think his fate felt appropriate at the end of the game. Letting him off scot-free wouldn't have been right either.

What I mean is the people who, when they think someone is judging them, go all "I LIKE XXX CONTROVERSIAL THING IT IS HOT AND YOU SHOULD SHUT UP YOU JUDGING MCJUDGYPANTS HDU NOT GET OFF ON THE SAME THING I DO I DON'T CARE IF YOU HAVE ISSUES." That kind of big deal. Which I keep encountering, whenever someone says they don't like someone else's kink for whatever reason. No one has "the right" to not be horribly upset, get over yourself. For one, what makes someone "horribly upset" depends on the person. I have a friend who gets upset over seeing a pairing she doesn't like in any context. Someone is going to be horribly upset at anything, it's not everyone's duty to never speak because they might horribly upset someone.

And yeah, some issues are touchier than others, but no one is going into their personal space and posting rape porn. If you're in a public area, anything goes. It's not hte same as being harassed on a personal journal or site (in which you could just ban them anyways, so that's a non-issue) Politeness is one thing, but you guys seem to want full out censorship with no one being able to talk about fetishes except in special fetish sites.

I hope you never talk about your sexuality in any way shape or form anywhere where I can see, I find it horribly offensive and upsetting.
