I don't know if this is commonly done but I remember a few years ago, movies were sometimes shown with only some scenes in 3-D. I saw Superman Returns like that, there was an icon on the screen that told you when to take your glasses on/off.

My favorite part was the tunnel between the two worlds. When it stretched out in 3D, I saw like "DAMN! It's really happening!!! :P"

Only certain scenes are converted, usually the big action scenes, I think to save money. I saw OOTP and HBP in IMAX 3D. In OOTP, it was the big fight in the Ministry of Magic; in HBP, it was the bridge collapse at the beginning.

No, by all means, you don't HAVE to ship the actors if you ship the characters, but personally I can see why people often ship the actors of characters they also ship together. Yes, sometimes it is just about ~omg two pretty people together it would be hot~, but also, chemistry usually DOES exist in order for people to ship them together, so.

Also, sometimes actors are VERY much like their characters, which yeah, doesn't help.

It's not like I'm unable to watch a show with a predominantly male cast. Hell, I love Red Dwarf for starters and it only started to suck when a woman was added to the main cast (though that's more to do with the type of show it was and how that just didn't work). But it's mainly shows with a lot of action where men do most of the fighting and heroic deeds while women are either damsels in distress or love interests (or both) that put me off a lot.

But hey; I love supernatural shows and good to know it doesn't take itself too seriously - something which I really would not have got from all the media and advertising with the whole "badass stoic manly men in leather and trenchcoats" imagery. Will teach me not to judge a book by its cover. ;)
