Bones wasn't childfree? I seem to remember her mentioning at least two or three seasons ago that she eventually wanted to have kids to pass on her genius or something like that. I mean, it's not like the show is now exclusively about Christine. They're still finding bodies and the other characters still have storylines (liked the one with Cam and her daughter, and Hodgins and his lab toys)

The standard "Naruto goes back in time and is super strong and stuff" fic, though in this one old!Naruto has a separate body and identity from young!Naruto. Old!Naruto (aka Haruka) is kind of a ridiculously awesome fixer sue, but something about the writing style/plot really makes it work for me personally. I mean, I know intellectually that Haruka's kind of a fixer sue, but that doesn't hurt the story at all, you know? It might bother other people though, and YMMV and all that. ^_^

Bones had talked about wanting to have a baby at least once before she actually got pregnant. And she'd even mentioned that Booth would be a good father (both genetically and otherwise). So she didn't just "accept her pregnancy" out of nowhere, they'd already established she kind of wanted to have a baby anyway.

OMG, I loved this series!

ITA. That relationship straddled the line between disturbing and exciting in the best possible way. And seeing Iain Glenn in that role is what finally compelled me to get off my ass and watch Rosencratz and Guildenstern Are Dead, for which I am forever grateful.

ETA: Although I was all about Roger. Such a sweet character is unusual in an era of tortured Byronic heroes, and the actor who played him had the most beautiful voice.
