I'm so glad I stopped trying to read this comic past the first few pages. Headaches abound.

I started reading it a couple weeks ago and I actually like it.

The fans can get weird but half of that is because there's so damn many and I've learned a good portion of them just draw porn without actually reading the comic in the first place.

Think of it like My Little Pony. It's an actually good cartoon with an overwhelmingly shitty fanbase if you don't dig for its decent bits.

Not everyone has the same opinion as you. Personally, I adore Homestuck and I couldn't get past the first chapter of The Two Towers because it was so boring and slow.

No I didn't 'do it wrong'. It's an online comic. I read a few pages and got bored, and then I moved onto other comics. I don't need to give it any sort of treatment you view as necessary. I know you love it, but the world still spins despite the fact I decided it wasn't worth my time after a few pages.
