http://youtu.be/RUsEIdHxBPk - Main theme from The Conversation (1974) by David Shire.

All of the A Single Man OST - Abel Korzeniowski is a god.

Labor of Love from the Star Trek reboot OST, Acceptance from The Little Buddha OST (Ryuichi Sakamoto is another god).

Oh, and - http://youtu.be/Z__oFcfp0Rg It's a Hey, Arnold! song, but it's beautiful to me.

Get therapy.

Spoilers

I liked it. The fact that the CMC thought they were being bullies was a bit... out of place, but I think the ending worked well.

And is it me, or are the songs much better this series? Some other songs are good, but so far the song in this, and the Crystal Fair Song, have been awesome.

Why do I keep getting the idea that Apple Bloom's VA has been changed? She sounded different in this episode, to me, for some reason.

they are a subdivision specialized in assassination

they put in slow-working poisons in the breads for specific costumers

months and months later

BAM! DEAD!

and no one ever knows it was the sweet, cozy bakery down the street

I'm pretty sure you can make an AMV out of pretty much any song with the right series and a little creativity.

That's what I was thinking. Searching at AMV.org by band is a good idea, might help OP see what can work and get their creativity going.

Fair enough. It's only human, I guess.

DA who hasn't read Catch-22 in years, so I can't remember how it comes up in the book, but I would assume that it has to do with the way plurals are formed in Latin. Words with the nominative singular ending in -um are neuter second declension nouns, for which the correct ending of the nominative plural is -a.

I understand. There are so many talented artists and writers out there, and while I enjoy their creations and am happy for them I do tend to get a bit jealous of their talents. Not everyone can draw or write or vid no matter how many hours of practice they may put in.

Bohemian Rhapsody.

I've seen one today who basically equated patriarchy with non-vegan lifestyle and said that everyone who knowingly supported patriarchy by eating meat deserved to be raped and killed, since this is what was done to animals.

...

There are ways to support veganism, this isn't one.

BNF secret! Yay!
Sadly, much as I am immersed in fandom nowadays, I haven't quite made the switch the other way. So when I'm online and someone talks about a BNF, all I see is the book. That is way more weird. 'I wish I was a BNF, bla bla' hehehe.

Yup!
aka my home these days. (Just kidding. The BSB as well.)

My brain has been stuck on a broken loop for about thirty minutes unable to resolve the conflict of James Bond and bakery AU.

you should take remedial classes in inception fandom.

So, F!S, which smush names do you hate/like the most?

(Anonymous) 2012-11-24 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't like Johnlock and Joanlock. Nothing to do with the pairings, but I just don't like how they sound. Yullen, on the other hand, makes me shudder because of some fans I associate with the pairing.

A good one that I can think of is Peeniss. I can't imagine using it seriously to tag discussions or art, but it made me laugh when I first heard it :D

...huh?
brightblueink: Drosselmeyer from Princess Tutu facepalming and bowing his head. (No. Just....no.)

Re: Favorite musical soundtracks in movies and TV!

[personal profile] brightblueink 2012-11-24 10:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Drosselmeyer's Theme from Princess Tutu. I love the music from The Nutcracker, so hearing The Nutcracker March in a minor key so it can be an ominous theme is pretty fantastic.

I also really like The Battle Between Light and Darkness from Chrono Crusade. I think it's the piano that does it for me? IDK, I didn't like the anime all that much but the soundtrack is fantastic. It sounds even better without the show to me, for whatever reason.

And this is actually a video game, but pretty much ANYTHING from the Baten Kaitos OST is amazing and beautiful.

I liked the LOTR music a lot as a teenager but I think I overdosed on it since I get bored of it pretty quickly these days....

I bet there are quite a few sexual funtimes that people have tried for "research". Or sexy funtimes that people try because they read it in a fic.
