I hate how I can't call myself fat and talk about how I need to get in shape and lose weight without people coming in and either berating me for fat shaming or telling me that I'm fine just the way I am.

No. I am not. My body is overweight and fat and out of shape. I am perfectly cool with who I am as a person, and saying I'm fat and need to lose weight is not an insult to myself. It's facts. Shut the fuck up.

I get that "fat" is, to a lot of people, a derogatory word but that doesn't mean you have to come in and lecture me and tell me how I feel about my own body.

Morrowind and Oblivion both had a shitty leveling system. Skyrim is way better on the interface, but I liked the stories in the previous two games better.

I hear you. I mainly like playing Adventure games and well it's pretty damn hard to find any these days that aren't just 'hidden object games'.

Anon... I'm going to assume you probably feel the same way about online people telling you things or 'looking' at you as you do about RL people, so I'll not try to comfort you. If I'm mistaken and you'd be willing to accept sympathy, you can say so in a reply. As is, all I'll say on that front is that you don't sound like a child - you sound like a deeply miserable adult.

Down to brass tacks, then.
IRL, if you can fake normalcy long enough to scrape your way back up in your classes or file the paperwork to receive Incompletes on them/whatever you need to do to make it up later, try to do so. Also, please see a doctor to see if you can get medication. Even if your emotional state can't be improved by meds, they ought to at least improve your RL functioning a bit. :\

Good luck with getting through this, anon. It can get better. I've seen people hit lows like you're at and gradually recover. I've been in a similar place (minus self-injury) myself. So... no matter how bad it is, it can improve. Until then, you've just got to survive.

Man, I feel you. I think that, for some of us, it's just a part of getting older. A lot of times, there's a style that resonates with someone in a particular way when they're young and, once that style falls out of fashion, a vital part of what inspired interest in the first place seems to have been taken away.

The same thing happens with other sorts of media, particularly music.

I didn't talk about it with a doctor, actually. The woman taking blood was just a researcher and said it was probably because I'd only had ~5 hours of sleep... But when I had blood taken recently they didn't seem worried, just told me to lie down flat. I hope it's okay :\

I'm glad that Moffat's not writing anymore episodes until the finale (I think) and I'm jazzed about Neil Gaiman. The non-Moffat episodes in this era are sometimes really really good.

Didn't care for The Bells of St. John, but I didn't hate it either. I was mostly just bored. It seemed kind of...bland. So I guess exactly what you were afraid of.

I have no problem with her humans naming her Tarder Sauce. Why anyone would get upset about something so silly as an innocuous pet name is beyond my comprehension.

I don't really care one way or the about the memes with her, but some of them are really funny and creative. It's nice to see those on my twitter feed every now and then.

I know how you feel anon, and I'd like to add that I feel like a cranky old lady every time there's yet another PS3/360 system update or day 1 dlc/patches and I mourn for the old days of just plugging in the cd/cartridge and just PLAYING instead of this nonsense.
