I'm just generally offended by people who don't "get" the seriousness of rape. Really? You don't get that an horrible act of force and, in many cases, violence is serious?

You don't know if it was an adult he beat up. You don't know how badly he beat that person up. You don't know how badly he tortured those animals or even what those animals were. You don't know if what he set on fire was someone else's home or not.

There's different characters with different view points and mini plots going on, and the strip's got Criminy and the devil boy being actual cool, genuine friends to the women around them. So, the character being attacked has an extreme view, and other characters show her view isn't always correct.

... I'm thinking troll, but still. I don't know the woman on the left, but Regina ripped out Graham's heart, had him forcibly dragged to her bedchamber, and then later used magic to create a world in which he thought he was her lover. Calling her a rapist isn't misogyny, it's factually accurate.

A few strips earlier, the girl was attacked by a bunch of guys for being a feminist. A guy who had earlier claimed to be the girl's ally was watching nearby, and did nothing to help her. That's the context for the strip.

I don't think the author is trying to say there's no male allies (especially since he supposedly IS one), I think this is a commentary on how sometimes male allies fall short of their duties because they don't always get or understand what women go through.. The guy in the strip who claimed to be a male ally, that character has always been kind of a self-insert for the author, so maybe it's him admitting that even though he cares about women's issues, he's been guilty of standing by when he knew something needed to be done.

I could be wrong of course, that's just my interpretation of it.

It's for notifying people who subscribe to F!S that the new post is up.

Long answer:

IIRC the entry containing secrets are always set to private first because case has to code the secrets and make the discussion threads. By setting the entry private, no notifications are sent out. That's why case has to make a public entry that says the new entry is up so people who subscribe to F!S will receive notification of the new entry when the post with secrets is ready. The notification entry is deleted immediately after AFAIK, so I think it's unusual to see it.

DA - they're both bad, but if one was one occasion and the other was a regular thing, I'd be more distressed by the one that seems to be a behavioral pattern over the one that seems to be a one-off "kids do some fucked up shit sometimes" incident.

My friends works there and loves it except for the first hour after the kids get out of school. She hasn't had any issues with the company or her manager. The only thing I've ever heard her complain about is that her district manager has been telling everyone to start pushing customers towards getting ready to transition to PS4 when it comes out which most of the employees don't like and is also counterproductive for the company. She thinks maybe Gamestop has an agreement with Sony about it.

Echoing that retail in general tends to suck. It can be a bit better or worse depending on the area, but it will always suck. And being the assistant manager can suck even more if you're expected to be the same as the manager when they're not around but to just switch over to being a regular clerk when they're there.
