I thought it was common knowledge that it was creative differences? But now I wonder if that was something I overheard that wasn't actually true.

I keep thinking I submitted secrets but not seeing them. O.o But I can't even remember what they were about. 0_0

I believe he's said in interviews that the show's violence (and glorification thereof) bothered him, so he quit.

The episode where he bonds with a woman on death row is still one of my favorite hours of television from any show. His performance was so moving.

Explaining why he abruptly quit the series before its third season began, blindsiding its creator Jeff Davis, Patinkin says, "I thought it was something very different. I never thought they were going to kill and rape all these women every night, every day, week after week, year after year."

"It was very destructive to my soul and my personality," Patinkin says. "After that, I didn't think I would get to work in television again."

Good for him. That's why I quit watching the show, too. It got to the point where I had to ask myself why I considered watching women get raped and terrorized entertainment.

I don't remember what he said at the time he left, but fairly recently (within the last year or two it seems) he's come out as calling it an awful show that hurt his soul because of all the violence it glorified or somesuch.

Word misspellings/misueses that drive you crazy

For me there are three big ones that come immediately to mind:
Yah.: Unless you're encouraging horses to move faster, the word you want is "yeah."

Addicting: Most of the time, the word you mean is addictive. Cigarettes may be addicting you to nicotine, but nicotine is addictive.

Definately: The word is not spelled that way, and it definitely isn't spelled defiantly.

SMUT STREAM 1: Porn Parodys

Saturday 6pm EST! THE FIRST AND (Probably) ONLY SMUT STREAM

Folks said they wanted it, folks will get it! Now, don't think this will just be lots of gyrating bodies. This is PORN PARODYS! People dressed as people you recognize doing stuff! The idea is we'll have it on vote... we don't necessarily watch the sex scenes. But we can! It'll be up to room vote: You all say skip it, we skip it. Room votes to stay, we stay. Majority rule has it!

We will definitely show: Alice in Wonderland an x rated musical, Pee Wee Herman XXX, Twinklight, Spider Man and Avengers parody's, and most certainly the Scooby Doo one.



Again, folks said they'd show up. So you gotta show up or I'll feel pretttyy stupid. This is probably a one time deal so if you miss it, you miss it! The reason there is so many is I'm sure most of you will in fact want to skip things on occasion. I got many more horrible movies, but these are the ones people expressed interest in, so they will be up first!

Obviously even if I skip scenes it's gonna be pretty NSFW cause some naked bits will show up sooner or later.

Also, if you show up and have another one in mind, I'll see what I can do. Or suggest it now!

And to newcomers... the stream is not especially mean or nasty or trolling or anything, promise. I mean sure, we are gonna laugh our asses off at these movies, but I'd ban anybody giving somebody else in the stream shit for say, actually liking something. This applies to non-porn parody streams as well. We show things out of love here. Love!

Patinkin was absent from a table read for Criminal Minds and did not return for a third season. The departure from the show was not due to contractual or salary matters, but over creative differences. He left apologetic letters for his fellow cast members explaining his reasons and wishing them luck. Many weeks before his departure, in a videotaped interview carried in the online magazine Monaco Revue, Patinkin told journalists at the Festival de Télévision de Monte-Carlo that he loathed violence on television and was uncomfortable with certain scenes in Criminal Minds. Question about the cultural uses of the C word
