I can only read analog clocks if they have actual numbers (sometimes roman numerals). Dots or other symbols, I have to stare for a long time, and if it's a blank face, I'm helpless.

I have trouble reading analog clocks even after going thru engineering school, where all rotation is described in terms of clockwise and counterclockwise. :) There's just something non-intuitive to me about numbers on a circle.

The only reason I do not consider suicide as a good option is because I'm fucking afraid of pain

(that being said, my situation in this regard is really, really stable. I'm not going to get access to any means of committing suicide painlessly in, like, decades, if at all. And it is absolutely bloody certain that I'll never settle on a painful version)

I lost a few pounds this year when my depression got really bad and now I'm reaching the lower rang of normal body weight. I'm not underweight, just a bit close to the limit, and I like it this way.
However, since I've started on antidepressants, I experience an increase in my appetite and new cravings for comfort foods so now I dread putting back the weight I lost and maybe more. I really don't think I could deal with what a rapid weight gain could do to my body image.

I don't think talking behind someone's back should be thought of as bad. I talk about all my friends behind their backs and I assume they all talk about me behind mine sometimes. I think it shows we all have things that bother us about our friends and know them well enough to intuit what they wouldn't want said to their faces.

I think I need to give up trying to find a label for my sexuality. I feel like it, and my philosophy on sexuality in general, changes weekly. I can't keep up and it's so damn frustrating thinking I finally have it figured out and then something happens to make me see things in a whole new way.

I'm a political (somewhat left-leaning, but not as far as most of fandom) centrist. Hardcore conservatives think I'm a commie bleeding-heart scumbag and probably a terrorist. Hardcore liberals think I'm a privileged oppressive *ist jackass. Both make me exhausted, disgusted and despairing of any major issues actually being resolved in my lifetime. Or any minor ones, at this rate.

I don't like my sister-in-law. I don't like her kids either.

I think my brother made a mistake in marrying her, and I hate that I feel this way (and that my dad does too) because he does generally seem content with her.

I feel disingenuous every time I'm nice to her when I see her (because I'm not married to her, it's not my life, and sometimes you just have to suck it up and be nice to people you'd rather ignore).

Some days I wish I'd fall into some random vortex and end up in some other part of the world in another time so I wouldn't have to deal with these pieces of shit I'm apparently related to, a career that won't give way for anything, and a life that never seems to get any better no matter how much work I put into improving it. I wish I could just disappear and not leave a trace of me behind, and start over with a life that doesn't feel like a goddamn death sentence (even though it literally is, ha ha) and meet people who genuinely give a fuck about me, and not just about fucking me (literally and figuratively).

It'll never happen, but in the event that it does, I hope I'm not some fucking ingrate who can't appreciate it because it wasn't perfect... like some assholes I know.

And yes, I know I have issues, so if that's all people are going to point out, you can fucking stop because I'm aware.
